awsome! i played an eko ebo styled bass a few years back and i loved the feel of the thing, and it was a step above the normal jap feel of the time.

My roommate from college has a 12 string EKO acoustic. It played nice for a 12 string despite some nice dings. No heel on the neck.

Kinda like this one:

That's a nice find

I really like that. Do these come up often on eBay?

My main acoustic is an Eko Ranger VI. It's so good it gets more play time than my other 3 supposedly higher quality acoustics.
It's in my avatar pic if you need to see it.
I've never played an Eko electric, however they had some insane looking ones with all kinds of switches and strange vibrato systems.
The Eko company also made the Vox guitars and basses for a time.
They've reissued their acoustics and a couple of electrics, albeit with modern appointments. I'd post a link to the Eko site, but I'm lazy.

edit: fuck it, I ended up having to check the site out, so here it is:

http://www.eko.it/international/Electric.htm

they've got some cool amps too. I want the lorenz.

edit 2: they have an american site too.
