Love it. Love the stock too. Though I'm an ESP fan in general.

Better than a tribal dragon or some other such nonsense. The rest of teh guitar looks good enough that I'm willing to let that slide.

Ooh. Now then. I like that. Whoever it was posting about the Big Black guitar would do well to look at one of these.

Apparently these came out in 2006 (why didn’t anyone tell me?). Played like a tele plus, very low action, £699 second hand and it was the sunburst version which (strangely as I usually prefer the sunburst) is my least favourite finish.

Honestly esp makes damn good guitars. Everyone I ever played has played like a dream, super smooth. Even the ones that I would never ever consider buying and playing that they make played well.

I had an ESP goldtop Les paul with p90's that I thought was miles better than the epi ones or other knock offs out there. Only ESP I ever had, but it was great and was like 299 new or something relatively cheap like that. I just hated the headstock.

The guitarist in our band is rocking a low-end ESP SG-style guitar at the moment. It was only really meant as a stand-in, but it's really grown on us. The only "complaint" any of us have is that it looks a little too metal, and the pickups slide a little too easily into "metal" territory, so it's wise to keep an eye on the gain. But it's a very nice guitar (and couldn't really be sniffed at for £50).

Looks really nice. Body shape reminds me of a Wilshire.

also played one of them today not too shabby for £199 but like you said a bit too metal.

I'm just gonna say it. I love metal guitars. Not the crazy pointy bc rich shit, but I'd rock a schecter c-1 or a ESP ph600 in a second.
My main guitar right now is a squier m-80. The M stands for METAL!
Suck it fenderbots.

Was me and I've played one sounds well sweet. Found the bridge pickup (JB) too bright though.
I think they're discontinued?
