I like it. It has lots of character. But I was hoping it would have the "arrow" head stock. would be cool with 2 pickups. I also dig the Fiesta Red Color

it's not fiesta red. it's the same as whatever this kind of red is.
fiesta red is more of an orange/pinkish kind of red.

The reviews of Broncos I read said the color was either red or Fiesta red. Maybe not the same finish, but they look pretty similar to me. The problem is every photo has different lighting which can make it harder to tell. I have seen some Fiesta Jagstangs that almost look like Dakota red in different lighting.

There was a time when fender had a colour just called 'red' that was a bit lighter than dakota. The bronco is probably that.

no way, fiesta is sooooo much nicer. and is much harder to find, unfortunately. it's hard see the difference that much in pictures. the color can vary based on so many factors (lighting, the camera, the monitor, etc.). I don't think any shortscale has ever come stock in fiesta red. possibly a jaguar.

Maybe Robroe can drop some science on this... he knows the Fender colour chart forwards and backwards.

haha, yea. I guess I was just thinking of vintage shortscales.
I think you are right about that "red" as well, I thought dakota was a bit darker than that bronco color.

Yes it's just 'red' - it's not a car colour so it doesn't have a fancy name. It's the same red as 60s student level guitars like the Mustang and Duo II.
