They just sound so great, too.
There was an old-timer at a big-box store a few months ago. He plugged the 5th Avenue Kingpin into a SF Champ and played a little jazz. It was amazing. In this huge store, you could hear his playing clear as a bell over everything else. It didn't even sound like a guitar plugged into an amp - it was just like music emanating from the ether.

I like the one pickup, no cutaway version a little bit more but this is from a aesthetics perspective only, the one up there looks more practical.

Awesome.
I am going to be in the market for a hollow body with P90s in the future, and I'll have to keep this one in mind.

My friend/dual bandmate/practice space room-mate just got one of the non-cut-away kingpins a few weeks ago. He uses it with my Silverface Champ. It is an astounding tone, and very comfy guitar.

I find Godin solidbodies to be excellent in terms of quality and playability but they're just so damn ugly and boring looking. This one actually looks nice, though.

godin electrics are ugly.
example:
my old lgx3:
it was ok, but I couldnt' live with the boredom. It sounded great. had those single coil size buckers in it and a piezo pup and stereo jacks and all that shit.

^ Arr, there's a pirate ragamuffin playing my ugly guitar, jim laaaaaad! ^
Had spotted these before - sadly, those great prices don't hold for this side of the pond, where dealers are doing their usual trick of scrubbing off the $ symbol and replacing it with a £.
