Fuzz Factory

Anybody use them? I snagged one at Long&Mcquade for $200 (zvex vexter series). Takes a while to get a handle on the controls, but really worth it given the wealth of tones you can get on it. I like the velcro fuzz, the 8-bit sound with no dynamic - but when I get bored with that its just a great distortion pedal.
I imagine their are a few owners on this board, what type of fuzz are you using it for?

Just a five knob fuzzface clone.

I forgot to mention, Musikding are now selling FF kits!
I'm a thinking "€27 sounds a lot of money for so few components".

Gotta love Musikding, you could get a decent board of the basics for about £100 with their kits. I predict a delay next.

Hmm, I might consider purchasing one of those kits for a little project. Would they be difficult for someone who only has experience soldering and wiring guitars?

There's so few parts you'll have it working in an evening.

I'd rather have a MBM on my board any day of the week.

not against that. didn't know MBM made a Fuzz Factory clone. although personally i would rather have/need a MBM Green Muff or a MBM Fender Blender. & i really only want the FF for the oscillation not the fuzz tonaz. really just something to have around, not to use extensively, otherwise i think i probably would have gotten one by now...
(plus Zvex has a tender roni or two painting his pedals & that almost seems to negate his fuckfaceassholeness.)

I highly advise the MBM Fender Blender. It's one of my most used pedals, and it's legitimately better than the reissue... not just in mojo points. No volume drop!

I couldn't agree more. It's not been off my board since I got it.

Sorry if I'm touching on something previously discussed but what's wrong with Zvex or the owner? I'm not questioning anyone's opinion, I just don't know!

How much did the MBM Fender Blender run you? I'd love to get one.

I think it was right around $130 total (inc shipping) at the time. worth every penny.

Just got the quote from Mike - 135$ shipped. I also checked out the demo and damn does that pedal sound AWESOME. I'm thinking about getting that and the Trystie Drive.

The demo hardly does it justice, not that it's a bad demo. There's just so many sounds in this thing. I use it for a high squeely trashy fuzz, and it's amazing at it.
