Ok so i went to my friend's house recently to jam a little and to later play some Call of Duty MW2. Well when we were getting set up, my friend started showing me his equipment. An Oscar-Schmit 12 string and a couple of REALLY old japanese acoustics, nothing really special. then we ventured downstairs to his very large basement and stumbled upon these relics. (i only had my camera phone so bear with me)
an ancient "Kay" amp model 771 marked "Solid State"

Really basic controls. managed to dial in a very nice crunch sound with the help of my trusty ds-1 pedal. cleans were a bit bassy

He also had an OLD Univox stack. (although it was broken at the time)

The coolest piece was when he reached in the corner and pulled out a dusty case, jurassic case which held this,

An "Encore" Violin Bass! (Shortscale!)

Pups need some work as one is completely shot, but have to plug it into a decent amp to really test it out.
Comment on the gear guys. My friend wants to know as much about these as possible. If any of u know anything about the quality, rarity, u know the rest...plz post.
Im personally interested in the kay amp as i couldnt really find much on it at all.
