Anyone know what the stadard pup routing is on a CIJ Strat?

HHH, HSH, SSS?
I'd go and look upstairs but it's late enough for me to not have the energy to go and take strings/pg off.
Am considering buying a new pg and having the option of a HSS strat if the routing is right.

Im 99% sure they are SSS and you'll have to route/chisel for any addition of a humbucker. As far as i know most Jap Strats are RI's of popular years and did'nt use swimming pool routes.
I could be wrong though, let me know if i am.

I think some will be swimming pool but the vast majority will be SSS. They make enough models I imagine it will vary a bit.

The Contemporary series may be swimming pool because of the different pup configurations they offered.

You don't really have to take the strings off. Just unwind them some, then capo @ around 5th fret, and then take the neck off. Not sure which is worse tho
