Nova Delay: Technical Difficulties
So I am having some problems with the Nova Delay I received, the one that was used but sold as a new item.
Basically it is having troubles keeping its presets well, set.
I'll set the tempo for one preset, save it, and move on to the next to find that it's tempo has also been changed.
Again, it was sold as sold to me by Musicians Friend, when i received it it was apparent that it had been returned. I'm thinking this might be why...
SO, is this something can be fixed with some button mashing or should it go back?
EDIT!
Turns out it has a "Global Tempo" feature you can assign to each channel, silly delay...

On the surface, the Nova is very easy.
Then it has a lot of deeper features which can be used or ignored.
I'd never want to have to change presets during a song.
I really like the level setting ability. It's a great way to get the best S/N ratio. The bypass sounds really nice, too; a good buffer.
Cheers!

teh Timebender seems really attractive. the envelope function & octave up reverse delay seem really killer. it does the time warp thing like the Giga Delay as well. i guess my main problem would be the 20 sec looper & the fact that it does look like a Giga Delay. i mean i would like to have a delay that has an electronic parameter interface & stuff but i just never liked the look or the design of the Gigadelay. i also have questions about manipulating loops.Haze wrote:I liked it over the nova over the time factor but I have a good feelingthe timebender is one of the "best" delays on the market. Never had the pleasure of playing a Hazarai but I have a feel I would be impressed. Never played a DL-4 either.....
