Found an amp: Tucker?

The plate has been modified by the owner so it looks like it now says "Fucker", but I think it originally said Tucker. It's old, 70s "future" aesthetics, like some of the old Wem and Watkins stuff, and it's a solid-state, but probably old enough to be transistor. It was just in my mates basement, single 12 inch speaker, actually sounded quite nice, and had a single carry handle on its side. Kind of like a kitsch Vox, in an odd way.

Can't find anything on the web about "Tucker" amps, can anybody indentify it? I'll take pics next time I go round.

an old band of mine used a solid state PA that was made by a company called trucker. could be one of theirs? i'd say it was a 1970s job.

That sound about right, just done a search and found an old eBay auction for what looks like the head version.

I was shocked at how nice it sounded, to be honest. Nothing amazing, but still a really nice, flat response which worked great with pedals, and had just the right amount of sparkle for me.

There's some absolutely GRUESOME crackling from the pots, though.
