I am not saying it's a bad guitar, but it wasn't made in Fender Japan like the other Vista Series guitars. Materials and production methods much different in Japan and China.hotrodperlmutter wrote:but the fact that it is labled "vista series," makes it part of the series. regardless of where it was made. vista is in california by the way, so technically, none of them are vista's. it may not have the same quality of the jap guitars, but it is from the series.
EDIT: i'd also rather have a chinese squier than an indonesian squier.
i didn't say you said it was a bad guitar, you did however say that it isn't really a vista series, when in fact, it is.taylornutt wrote:I am not saying it's a bad guitar, but it wasn't made in Fender Japan like the other Vista Series guitars.hotrodperlmutter wrote:but the fact that it is labled "vista series," makes it part of the series. regardless of where it was made. vista is in california by the way, so technically, none of them are vista's. it may not have the same quality of the jap guitars, but it is from the series.

Its definitely of lesser quality.hotrodperlmutter wrote:i didn't say you said it was a bad guitar, you did however say that it isn't really a vista series, when in fact, it is.taylornutt wrote:I am not saying it's a bad guitar, but it wasn't made in Fender Japan like the other Vista Series guitars.hotrodperlmutter wrote:but the fact that it is labled "vista series," makes it part of the series. regardless of where it was made. vista is in california by the way, so technically, none of them are vista's. it may not have the same quality of the jap guitars, but it is from the series.
