New Pedalboard - Pedaltrain Mini

Post by Thom »

So Rob's thread pushed me over the edge and made me do what I had been thinking about - getting a small pedalboard and properly downsizing my rig. It has been shrinking for a while now, and I was fed up of my large-ish Diago board making an extra trip to the car.
So bit the bullet - hey it's Christmas right - and ordered a Pedaltrain Mini. Just what I needed.
I am pretty anal about my board so I love how tidy and neat it is.

Dibs on the peach fuzz in case you ever want to sell it.

Whats the difference between the hi-band flanger and the standard bf-2?

To be fair, it looks very nice. Glad one of my pedals made the final cut.

Looks fantastic. Can't wait until I get my pedaltrain pro. Pedaltrain boards look class.

Sure - I doubt I will sell it, but I'll let you know if I do. And I've never played the BF-2, but from the Boss description this is what it says:
"The HF-2 is combining the original signal with a delayed signal that is shifted one octave up to create a flanging effect a bit different but still similar to the BF-2. The effect is brighter and cleaner than the BF-2. The HF-2 may not be as powerful as the BF-2, but for hi frequency flanging it produces a very good result."

I'm continually swapping out the SHO and the Saltbooster depending how I'm feeling, so half the time it will be 2 of your pedals!

Yeah I agree - pricey, but worth it I think.
And totally the Phase 90 is lovely! You gone for the same one?

Haha I edited my post when I re-read yours properly. It's certainly a lovely pedal.
The HF-2 is certainly cool - pretty subtle but really easy to dial in some lovely sounds.
Will bring to Frogfest if you remind me!

Congrats on the little board. I love the simplicity of a small pedalboard, though I would probably need the next size up. I am trying to get a Voodoo Lab Pedal power 2 for my Pedaltrain Pro.

Thanks guys.
I'm using the Diago powerstation on it and it fits snugly in the gap above the MXR pedals...well happy.
