Anyone else see these? I'm certainly curious about North American Pricing, but these are destined to be steady future sellers among teh believers:

i really like that thinline, but i would like to see some color in the neck, and if the QC is as shaky as the cv duos then i would want to play one before i bought one.

I bet that 62 custom would make a fine baritone after a bridge change.

And as far as QC goes, Ive played liek 3 different CV 50s teles adn they were every bit as good as my MIM.

What exactly makes the Custom a Custom? Am I stupid here? Looks like a standard Tele setup to me?

i was thinking more color options, and binding judging from the avri 62 customs.
but does the cv tele custom even have binding?

Yeah, pickups aside, I can't imagine what could be 'custom' about the 62 Tele.

It's hard to see what the Mexican Standards have got going for them now.

It's like the Tele '62 Custom reissue... them Americans made the black/nat one but there is also a burst Japanese one. Maybe more I'm not sure. It has the body binding innit. :D

But seemingly they are just remitting the 're-issue' part so no banker w@nker snob heeds get offended.

one example: http://www.guitar.co.uk/guitars/electri ... ric_guitar

exciting news... more quality guitars to sell without feeling guilt.

Soooo.... What the fuck is Fender for these days, if Squier is putting out this?

Basically, the best P-Bass you'd want, the best J-Basses, the best Strats, and the best Teles?

Yep, plus teles at that point came with a white transparent blonde over ash finish with a single ply white pickguard, the custom colours (not to be confused with the Custom Tele which was 3TS) had the 3-ply guard like all the 60's tele re-issues. The Custom has double body binding (top and back). They're brilliant for doing it, I've always thought these looked so cool

I have an AV '62 Custom Tele bridge pickup in my main parts tele and it's the best sounding bridge pickup I've ever had in any guitar.
