I'm looking for a LP Jr style guitar, black preferably. I saw this, no mention of body wood though:

Sheridan LP Jr.

Never heard of Sheridan...

They're not bad guitars, a shop near me has the cherry model in. Seems solid enough. It will probably need a good set up being mail order though.

Wonder if it's bolt-on or not...

Yeah, it's a well known shop selling it so I could return it if it was shit, although they are £30 cheaper on Ebay. I don't mind changing pickups and some of the hardware for that price, my main concerns are with the neck and frets.

^ EDIT: It's a set maple neck.

He's in the UK.

Oh and I say DEW EET.

I've always had a love affair with LP Jr's.

they probably do, but it would most definitely override the cost benefit.

Speaking of Rondo Music, I love those 3/4 length, 1-pickup Strats that they sell, proper EVH.

Well, yes... yes you should. lol

But I'm pretty sure that you're in the clear in this case. Suggesting Rondo is always good solid advice, they make a great product. Hell, I might be wrong, maybe they have some secret cheapo international shipping.

I couldn't find the Jr. on Rondo, I think it's been discontinued. I defo would have considered it.

Well, I'm going for the guitar, £139 new on Ebay. If it turns out to be shit I'll just return it or file a Paypal claim, already thinking of putting a Gibson dog ear in it depending on what it sounds like stock.

I'll update with either  or :D when it arrives.
