Since I bought the Agile Goldtop I started looking for pictures of older Agile guitar(2003 and before).Just thought I would post them here (mine is at the top). I'd like to have one of those old "burst" LP 2500s

I know nada about Agiles, where are these originals made? How are they to play?
I'm loving the LP Junior in that bunch of pictures. I prefer the sincle cutaways but, as a lefty, the double would be the only one I'd really be able to get.
PLEASE!!!... Tell Me About the Fuckin' Golf Shoes!
The old Agiles made from 1999 till 2003 were really cool but they started changing over to the new model designs around August 30th 2003 when Kurt posted this on the Harmony Central Electric Guitar Forum:
"Just to clear up some things on the body shape.
As far as I know, there have been no changes to the body of the 2500 or 2800 since they day Rondo Music starting stocking these products. – The Shape SHOULD have be the same going all the way back to 1999 model LP2000. However at the same time, I am sure that certain production changes have occurred over time, which may have caused a few slight changes to the body shape un-intentionally. I don’t think any of those changes would be noticeable without taking measurements.
However, at the same time, as demand for these guitars increases, along with quality, I think the company will most likely follow the Hoshino (Ibanez) business model of moving away from some of the more traditional designs and more towards designs of it’s own. I think this is a fairly commonly used model.
That being said, I don’t see any major body changes with the Agile 2500 or 2800 coming. The biggest change will be continued improvements in quality. For example, the 2800s will start shipping with a bone nut in November and include a graphite nut with the guitar for those who prefer that. I will post other improvements on our web site when I have details. I do expect the body shape to change slightly as a new production process is going to used. I DO EXPECT THE HORN TO BE MORE ROUNDED. The horn on the Gibson Les Paul, along with the head stock shape are just two of several components that are protected by trademark. The exact wording of the trademark makes the legal environment “tricky and confusing. As of this date, neither Rondo Music, nor Agile Guitars have been contacted by Gibson regarding any violation of trademark regarding Agile guitars. However we like to be pro active in this matter and move away from any issues that may cause future problems. Note that Rondo Music does not own the Agile factory, and does not have compete control over production. (Just as fender does no own much of it’s overseas production facilities for example). In fact, Agile is just one (probably the smallest) of many brands made at that factory. We essentially we make recommendations to existing products the factory makes based on customer suggestion (from the forum for example). The Agile 2000 model was simply a model we (rondo Music) ordered from the factory catalog with no design changes or suggestions. The model 2500 was based on your suggestions for improvement. The 2800 is the third generation.
I fully understand that the shape and style of the guitar is one of critical importance to its’ success. I will do my best to continue providing ever-improving quality instruments while simultaneous producing the desired body shapes, to the best of my ability.
god these look so much better than the current models. I can't stand the changes they've made in body shape. they're all so close to being the real shit. it just get on your nerves. especially since a lot of the models are great ideas but the execution leaves so much to be desired.
