I tried a normal VC15 in the shop and it was sweet, but picked up the limited edition on ebay for a bit of a bargin. When it arrives I will see if I can sort out a little demo.
Until I can do a demo here is what the normal VC15 sound like

No xlr or line out, just an external speaker connection on the outputs. It does contain something called the 'dark arts' what ever that is, spec:
The Laney VC15-110 Guitar Valve Amplifier Combo, OLD ENGLISH WHITE LTD gives you a 15 watts of amazingly warm or classic bluesy lead tone.
The Laney VC15 110 is the only amp on the market to employ 'The Dark Art'. The VC15-110 is the latest baby of the VC range. Built on the distinguished heritage of the VC30, the VC15 delivers great tone. 15 watts of amazingly warm or classic bluesy lead tone powered by matched EL84's and cranked out through its internal 10 inch speaker. For even more dynamics, there are two dedicated extension cabinets - the GS112VE and the GS210VE.
