They reeeeeeeeally shoulda made it bigger to accommodate some kind of variable tone control- I can't imagine anything more annoying than a 'preset' clean sound, even if it does have a BITE switch..

great point. it's on the verge of brilliance, but holds itself back.

Looks cool. I sort of don't see the point, though. You still need to bring a cabinet with you.

I agree, I'd go for the ZT lunchbox first.

It'd be good for say, a bandpractice so you don't have to lug your nice head around, but I can't see this getting any live use.

Some rackmount stuff and some multieffects have shitty cab sims so this could be used as a power amp to power a cab. I like the concept!

Oh and some people (like me), still want an amp blasting behind me even though I'm plugged straight to a PA via a POD.

I would say main reason for it is this and home use. the other thing is you could use it as a cheap back up amp incase you have any issues when gigging.

Another thought I had was could you use this linked to your main amp in a similar way to how Ronnie Wood used to have a Fender Champ running on max into his main amps when h was in the faces?

Oh yeah I've been meaning to ask that - whether this can be used as a boost pedal? I keep saying that I'll reply to this thread with that but when I hit reply, I forget. Self fail.

Well, it puts out enough power to drive a speaker... so I wouldn't put it in a normal FX chain unless you want to blow up your amp.

Oh thanks for that. I'm not really knowledgeable about these things. So thanks!

I think it's a cool idea, and would be handy if your amp suddenly blows up or something...but then again, I'm not sure it would really be any use in a band situation - I can't imagine it being any where near loud enough to cope.

my other guitarist in the band just ordered one of these as a "backup amp" :?:
he has some old digitech rp modeling doo-hickey to run amp models in it. It'll be interesting to hear thats for sure
