Guitars you want that you will realistically own one day

So kind of follwing on from my thread about guitars we do or don't play much, I've been thinking about guitars that I would really like and think I probably will own one day. Not talking about fantasy stuff like a '59 Les Paul or '57 Strat, but that you could realistically afford to buy at some point in your life.
For me, there are a few things that I have always wanted but not ahead of other purchases. I guess it comes down to 3 guitars:

1) Fender Telecaster
2) Gretsch hollowbody
3) 12 String - probably acoustic above electric.

So what's missing from your collection that you might get one day?

Well I've owned tons, and my father has as well... combined we've had some real gems... he even had a '74 Les Paul custom and a '62 Fender Strat... tons of Gibson semi-hollow bodies. He once gave me a light bust ES-125 from the early 60s, it was awesome.

just like this one

I guess, that I'd like to own a genuine Gibson Les Paul '56 reissue, right now I have an ESP/Edwards that's been made into a replica by a previous owner... http://www.shortscale.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31412

I've never owned a Jaguar or Jazzmaster, I'd like to. Every time I go to a shop and play a new one you just tell they had no idea how to set it up properly so whenever I have played one they've played badly. I think setting up a Jaguar or Jazzmaster is a bit of a learned skill. I've never seen one used around town, people get them and they hold on to them.

I guess I'd like a genuine Rickenbacker bass, but I could live without it... if you call that living

I am also going to include guitars I want to try to build

Fender Musiclander/Arrow (with 24" scale)

PRS Custom 24 in whale blue with birds.
Oh, hang on, you said *realistically*. OK, some other guitar with humbuckers. The Flying V doesn't quite have the right growl with the present pickups.

i'd rock that, haze. looks really good with the rosewood board.

i honestly don't know what i'd like to get to be honest. i'd love a rickenbacker 360/13 string, but would i play it enough to warrant the money? i don't know.
A gretsch hollow body is something i always look at in shops, but i've never gone any further than that. i'd love a country gent or a duo jet. maybe a gibson 175 or 335.

-tele
-Jazzmaster (got to try again)
-a bunch more US Hamers

i reckon the next guitar i buy will be a 60s jag or jazzmaster, but it won't be for a while. it has to be the right one in terms of looks (a bit beaten up) and price (under £2000).

My current goal is to go for a classic player jazzmaster. after that who knows. Ive always wanted a les paul double cut with P90s in it though. so maybe that.
