This may sound stupid, but I have some spare money around 300$,
and I am thinking of
a) Squier telecaster (and adding an mini humbucker)
b) Xaviere telecaster with a humbucker already
c) Electro Harmonix Memory Man with hazarai
d) Small tube amp
h) something else

Last time You shifted my thoughts from a Gretsch to a Epi Casino and I am very thankful.
So now again I cant make up my mind.

yup,they look really nice.
Are they 'string trough the body' ?

(I was thinking maybe about those off-sets.. the jaguar one.. with p90, but I already have the casino with P90s)

The Xaviere should be string through. Should.

I personally really like the Squier Standard. The finish seems a bit nicer than the Xavieres I've played, though that's just nit-picky. The Squier weighs a bit less as well.

The Memory Man w/ Hazarai is practically an instrument itself. I guess the real question is if you are happy with the guitar you have now, if it does everything you need.

As for small tube amps, that depends what you have already.

I've never seen a six saddle tele bridge that wasn't string through. toploaders are always 3 saddle.

I would go with a Squier tele. For $300 there are quite a few models to choose from.

I have always liked the finish on the Squier Affinity special:

Also the one with 2 P90s is cool.

The Squier Affinity is a toploading 6-saddle isn't it? I always thought it was, anyway. All the Xavier teles with 3-saddle bridges are both string-through and top load.

ok, then. true that. I guess just the kinds with the strat type saddles are string through.

Well, I really enjoy my Epiphone, I can get all the sounds Im interested, but sometimes I miss the single coily sound.
Maybe just wait a bit till a nice guitar comes up in the classifieds..
(im bitting my fingers for missing that Duo-sonic deal)

Memory man would be fun to play around with, and I dont have a lot of pedals, haha.
(Danelectro reverb, echo and a boss octaver)

still thinking.
(amp maybe was a bad idea, cause my vox is pretty good)

Pawn shops in my country consist of soviet acoustic guitars, some of which are 'playable' not to say more.
Hope I will have a chance to travel somewhere to check out guitars, but for now I will watch some eBay.

But I think I will get the Memory man, cause I really like the loop function and nice reverses, delays and all that jive.
(cause more pedals - more sounds from one guitarzz)

if that was bound i WOULD BUY. Only problem is i wouldn't know weather i should stare at it or rock.

I would go with the squires particularly the classic vibe, you wont find a better tele under $500, FACT

I can try and get some for all Your kitches, hah.
Sometimes some good mandolins and balalaikas for cheaps, but no mexican fenders and epiphones.

What is the main difference between the mini humbucker and a full sized one?
any difference in sound?
Now I want that squier.

After playing a CV Duo-Sonic, I'm gonna have to agree, the CV junk is fucking great.
