I didn't really know what to expect with this amp, but to me it sounds very much like a Marshall type of thing. I really like the dual master volume on the Dime channel - It's just like the JCM900 SL-X I just sold and a great way to boost them lead lickz! Overall a very solid feeling amp with ok clean and nice tight distortion, it's also probably the lightest amp I have right now, which is cool!

When Krank first started out, they had this crazy policy - if you didn't like their amp after a month or so of rocking with it, you could send it directly back to them for a refund.

I wasn't into their sound or image (I think SLIPKNOT MOTHER FUCKER were their only endorsees back then) but I can't think of a better way to get someone to try out your product.

It lasted a couple of months and then Krank totally reversed their policy. Maybe they considered it redundant since most music stores will do this anyway? Maybe too many amps came back? Maybe people abused it? I dunno. But I never took them seriously since. If you put your name on the line with a promise like that, and then take it back, it suggests the product doesn't live up to the hype.
