NGD+ Dano vibe problem.

I got my birthday presents early this year, which is cool. Got one of those Art MP tube preamp things, and a Dano cool cat Vibe.
So onto the problem. The dano vibe sounds GREAT. Very wooshy, hendrixy star spangled banner tone.
The problem is, the longer i leave the pedal on, the less it actually effects the signal, and the slower it gets. After 10-20 minutes, it turns into a weird tremolo with heavy LFO throb, like a thump. At first i thought it was just a crappy battery, but i changed batteries and it still happens.
I can remedy the problem by leaving it off for 10-20 minutes, but its only temporary.
Does anyone know what might be happening? I've heard that there is a trimpot inside for depth which most people seem to mess with, but it seems that is more of a personal taste thing, and it voids your warranty (i think).
I can still send it in for return, but i would prefer to tinker with it if i knew what to look for/fix. I Haven't took it apart yet to see if anything is bleeding into anything else.

send it back-- dont mess with it---
when you get one that works properly-- then mess with it--
they are mass produced- bad pedals are a fact of life--
get a new one- yo

I'm thinking that may be the best idea, though I'm still curious as to what the problem actually is. Google tells me no one else has had it, so I'm just gonna guess its a bad component somewhere.
Still sounds fantastic when it isn't being finicky.

Try it on a 9vdc power supply, if it still happens then contact behringer about the problem. If they don't have any reccomendations ask if you can send it back for a new one. Or return it to the shop it was purchased at for a new one.

aye do this.
you'd probably do better to contact danelectro though. behringer's good, but it's not
that good.

Problem is, I don't happen to have a power supply. Definately gonna get that limited warranty card from the box. (I assume it's easier to return via Dano than musiciansfriend?)

Returning it through musicians friend would be faster. It'll get to them just as fast but they will priority mail you a new one and ship yours back to Dano.

I think that's just the sound of it eating batteries; 20 minutes is actually pretty good going for a 9v in a vibe pedal. Buy a cheap little power supply.

Please stop using batteries on hungry effects like Vibe. It's really really bad for the planet.

F'reals- just pick up a cheap adaptor for a few bucks, it may well save you sending it back- and save the planet, right kids?

Really think it could be running out batteries so fast? It returns to normal after 10 minutes of not playing, so I didn't think it could be really that power-hungry.
Makes enough sense though, I can see the lamp and photocell thing sucking power pretty hard. I'll go ahead and look for a power supply.

Yeah totally - it could be that fast.
And you should find that if it seems normal after 10 mins it will probably run out quicker than in the first place.
Power supply should sort you out for good.

Souns like a capacitor problem, send it back. Do NOT void the warranty bu messing with it.
