I played one of these in a shop this weekend. I kinda was digging it. It was a squier vista series and they had 260 on it. If it had of been another color besides salmon pink I would've left with it probably. Is that a good price on one? It had a few scratches and nicks in it but nothing to awful bad. I also found a Squier bronco bass in a pawn shop next door but they had like 150 bucks on it and sky high action and was filthy. I know that isn't a good price because I see them new in the box on the ebay for 150. Thanks guys

The price isn't fantastic but it's not high either, probably about right. They're vista but both the musicmaster bass and guitar were made in China which means they lose a lot of what made the Vistas so good. They're still good budget guitars. Probably about on par with the current CV series. It's not going to blow your socks off but it will be a nice, solid little guitar.

Cool. Thanks for the response. If it were another color I probably would've jumped on it, I imagine I would be better off saving my money for another guitar anyhow. I would like to have a short scale bass but i think I will right for just the right one to come along

I have to agree with James on the price. I paid abour $200 for mine, and that was after some $20 shipping I believe. A nice little bass though. A little bit of neck dive though.
