one of my friends put one of these in the bridge of his les paul. It sounds good, but he just has it wired for a p90 sound and that's it, none of the other features are being used on it, the p90 sounds great though. Haze has 2 of these in one of his tele's he probably knows the most about them.

Yeah his tele is set-up for all the combinations. He made this awesome video where he ran through all of them with captions so you can tell what each part of each pickup in each position sounds like.

My work here is done
but seriously. They're great pickups!
P90 sounds like a p90 because it is one, it's hotter than a standard single coil (common to p90s) so it hits my dirt and fuzz pedals harder and pushes my amp harder.
The rail is like any other rail pickup, it isn't quite like a strat pickup it has more quack to it
humbucking is LOUD. It clipped my hotcake overdrive to the point where I couldn't use it. However I love how it pushes my amp and the OCD/DLS.
I can get you the wiring diagram I used if you're interested. I used two push/pull pots and a standard 3 way switch. It gets all of the basic sounds but on a LP setup I imagine I could get all of the possibilities

eh, not really, just an experiment on a guitar he doesn't use any more.
