Jag-Stang question

Post by mickie08 »

Is 330 with a hard case a secent price for a 95 sonic blue jagstang that is beat up a bit on the back?

Usually when I see them they are more like 500 or more so I saw this today and was curious.

well, if it stays around until I get paid I probably will, if nothing else I could probably sell it on here or part it out on here. At that price, i would not loose anything.

That's like £204.00 over here, almost half price at what they sell for in the UK (without a hard case)

I'm almost tempted to Paypal you the money for that.

Seriously. Do not let this go. If you do not have the money I will send it to you.

I do not have the money until Friday. I will pic it up for anyone who wants it, but $ would have to be paypal'd and then once cash in hand, I would see if I could get it.

I am free time wise to go around and try to grab it though if anyone is interested.

I did end up getting it. It may be more of a project that expected. One of the pots is frozen (fairly easy fix) and the paint is beat all to hell (although not as much noticeable from afar as it is paint cracking here and there and then a huge paint chip on the back).

So, 3 options...

Sell it at cost on here to someone for a project.

flip it locally for a few bucks (not a whole lot more in it's condition)

take it apart and refi the body/fix pot and then sell for some real money.

Probably leaning towards option 1.

I'd take the neck if I had any sort of income!!! Damn.
I'm sure some folks would be glad to take that whole guitar for that price though

one of my ex bandmates may want it as well and he has first dibs, Also, pens expressed interest earlier in this thread. I will post pics to show the tough shape of the body, Just alot of paint chipping and cracking and the pot needing replacing. It would be without case though because they case it came with is basicly falling apart and the added cost o fpacking it/shipping it would be way more than this case is worth.

If my guitar ex-player decides against it, or noone has cash in pocket right away, then I will give you dibs on it for mid february.

Sell it serfx! I hate to see discontinued or vintage guitars parted out, especially when they are functionally in one piece. Seems wrong.

Yeah, as far as I'm concerned, the neck is worth what you paid for the whole instrument.
