There's a '72 on ebay UK right now in average condition for £1,600 (<--- click)

If it's in particularly nice shape I'd hang onto it for awhile longer. They keep appreciating as we get further from the early 70s/original handwired Marshalls.

Here's my baby, a '73 superbass, handwired but w/aluminium face, not worth as much as yours 'cause it's been dicked with
It's been PPIMV'd, hence the relocated power lamp... there's a push/pull master vol in it's place.

I'm not familiar with the going rates in the UK, sorry. I was hoping to see 4 or 5 being sold at once as is often the case in the US. Here they go for around $2000, give or take a few hundred where guys are hammering out trades and shipping, etc... also eBay is never a good indicator for average used price. All the guys that are dreaming sell 'em there, plus it's a global marketplace where some guy in rural Illinois who has no superleads within road trip distance might snatch it up for ludicrous money.
You can get one for as cheap as $1000 if it's tatty or modified in the US.

Has anyone bought one of these or know anyone who has? The prices seem to vary between £800-1500?
