whats a 70's greco sg junior worth?
are they any good?
i really wanna sg junior and a greco has come up cheap
and i dont wanna spend loads anyways

how much is cheap? The 70's greco's are pretty well known for being spot on copies and really great guitars.

Hard to judge... in the US 70's Grecos tend to go for between 500-600 bucks. I don't know what the rarity of their SG Jr is, but I know I've never seen one. I'd guess that's a fair price, but not a tremendous deal. That's guesstimation, so I'm mostly speaking out my ass.

im really unsure my girlfriend says its my 21st birthday present

Depending on condition, bolt-on/set-neck and a couple of other things it's a good deal. Any pics?

SG Jr's are fucking rad.

I'd say it's a pretty decent with a hard case.

Most important... what color is it? If it's transparent red or tv yellow DEW EET.

If it's a set neck, with no headstock or neck repairs, then that's the bargain of the year. If I wasn't such an honest sort (and more importantly, if you hadn't just said it was your friend selling it) I'd be trawling the local guitar shops trying to find it.

yeah i got 3 square tweed cases which i use all the time
and iv got the original one that came with my burns
and a hardcase for my acoustic too
so it depends it its an original case i suppose
i also scored a fucked ac30
im gunna have a look at fixing it or i could use it as a cab
todays been fucking cool and i havent even left the house
