There is also a picture of a dog/bear thing on the lower part of the body behind the bridge and "Jacuzzi Meatball" is
written in Sharpie across the pickguard. I have no idea what it means.
I think it adds character.
In fact, the whole body kind of exudes a Sonic Youth vibe.
I look at that and think "I'd like to do something with that". I just itch to scrape some of that crap off, but I don't think the "or best offer" is going to go for the $100 I'd be prepared to offer.
When I saw the price I thought ok a pre CBS or something like that, but as it is a 90s MIJ, this is ridiculous ... unless he's a known artist where he lives. But then it wouldn't be on ebay I guess.
Obi Wan says: The Jundland Wastes are not to be traveled lightly.
strat-talk says: Shortscale is a crazy place. There seems to be no rules at all and they're all insane!

I bought this thing for 350$.. I already have a neck for it so i'd say it's a pretty sweet deal. Im going to paint it white with matching headstock. If anyone wants to see pics let me know

create a thread in the guitar projects are once it shows up and document the hell out of it.
hotrodperlmutter wrote:yeah, $350's not bad, but i know i wouldn't pay that for a body that needed to be refinished.
I really don't think it needs to be refinished. it just has what looks like some tempura paint and other scum and dirt on it. you just need to scrape or sand it off, clean it up a bit and then polish it.
