So i went into a guitar store today for the first time in a while, to get new strings and repair my ailing les paul. Little did i know there is a decently large guitar store inside my town that appears to have deals with ESP, Ibanez, and Fender. The guitar that caught my eye was a LTD EC-401. When looking at the guitar online it looks so plain and ugly but in person the shiny black finish reminded me of sports cars. I only played it unplugged, but the action and neck were very thin and comparable to my les paul. I thought seriously about buying it before i realized i had no real reason to. I forced myself to leave the store without inquiring about the guitar. Close call!! Anyone else have any of these experiences recently?

All the time lol. I recently went onto Bass in one of my bands to help them out, basically i fixed up my gf's old Tanglewood Bass that is pretty much garbage to do this. So i was in the shop the other day to get my mate some drumsticks and i saw an Aria Mosrite style Bass, i nearly bought it.
The band have stated they dont want me to stay on bass but its just another excuse for me to get gas, im fond of Aria anyway and at £200 it seems a steal.
God help us all.

Wow...i'm actually over it now and came to my senses. I suggest anyone with GAS to go home and wait a few hours...maybe check your bank statement and bills.

Always: the Vibro Champ, Squier CV Basses, blue Baja tele, the M13 was a classic case of my GAS, luckily one which paid off... I could go on.

With me it's always effects. Walking in, looking at what they have, and buying whatever I was holding in my hand.
