This appears to be a non-contoured Mustang body that was poorly modified to be left handed, it's on eBay and currently cheap, have at it short Scale.

oh weird. it's a bronco though. that's why it doesn't have any neck pickup route on the (now) back side. also, they fixed the bronco bridge to the body.

filled in pg holes on the back was a dead giveaway...
for as ugly as it is, i think with a thick coat of paint she could be pretty nice.

If it stays cheap, I will get it, fill in all of the shit woodwork, then paint the fucker.
Dude, if I can score this it will be a dream come true.
Then again it will likely end up like the Super Sonic and end up fucking breaking in half if I look at it funny.

Yeah, I'm
working on that. It takes a while to glue, clamp, wait, sand, etc.
I'm still considering just taking that one to a luthier at this point to see if they can just pull out the skunk stripe and redo the truss rod or something.
This here, if it stays around like $40, I could just buy and sit on for a while to finish slowly and gradually. I'd still need to locate a lefty shortscale neck which is also pretty close to impossible, so that would be a slow project.

Pens, in all seriousness. That looks like it would snap in half if anyone screwed a neck on, let alone strung it up!.
Look closely at the pics.
They glued a filler piece in the original neck pocket. Then routed away from the back. It's not even straight!
I wouldn't touch it.

Yeah, it looks like they put in a block to fill the neck pocket, then routed the other side. I am not seeing what is the problem with this. It will be fine, and actually the route on the lefty side looks pretty straight.
For $30 it's worth a shot.
YOU DONT SEEM TO UNDERSTAND HOW FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE IT IS TO FIND LEFT HANDED BRONCO BODIES.

That can all be undone. I don't care as long as the bridge and neck pocket were done in the right way.
Hell, even that I could fill and reroute if need be. This is just a janked up Stang shaped block of wood at this point. I could fill every route in it and redo.
Plus it comes with a BRONCO BRIDGE which is in itself worth the $30-40.

Meh fuck it. I put a bid on it and I was already outbid by the first guy at $30. Fuck it I ain't going more than that something I'd have to put so much work into. I can have a brand new lefty Bronco body made for $120 exactly the way I want.
After the $12 shipping, it would have been $40. I'd have to bid higher than that to get this at this point, and $50 ain't worth it for the amount of work required.
I'm out on that.
