My local shop has a 2000 American Road House Stratocaster the was a special order made for Mars Music in 2000. I have heard different storys about how many were made either 50 or 100 in 2 colors Red Sparkle and Teal Sparkle both have matching headstocks. The one at the store is the Red Sparkle and it is gorgeous. Looks just like Dorthy's Ruby Slippers.



what do you thing a strat like that is worth?

i would imagine it would command a pretty penny, upwards of $2k in the right circles (the ones where you're jerking off your neighbor).

They want $1500. It's a consignment piece so the don't have much room to deal until the owner gets desperate.

The most I would pay for it would be around $1000.

I don't think that model Fender is going to be particularly rare in the future. It's just a hunch, though. As far as used American Standards go, you can get one for $700-900 USD.

I prepare the teal one, personally.

Sought after, yes. I didn't read the quantity made--but my statement before still stands.

I went to my friends store today. Tried to take a picture but they are kinda blurry. In person it looked even better than I remembered.

the og candy apple red was just trans red over shoreline gold so I think it would work similarly on the silver sprakles.

Think it is worth $1000? It is an American Roadhouse Strat(not a Standard).

as stated before, in the right circles. i think it's worth $1k considering the mexi road-worn shit is going for like $800 - $900 new.
