The photo is a link.
I think its pretty hot. Someones added a tone pot and a tele style input jack down the line. But neither of these are mentioned in the description.
Heres what a stock sunburst Venus should look like.

That looks lovely .... like the mod too, but jack plate looks a little ugly.
Haven't you got one Noirie ?

Yep a seafoam green one.

Its strung up with elevens and plays like a dream. The only thing i want to change is the stock bridge humbucker. Looking at a Duncan 59 or a JB.

Personally I'd go with a JB, with either the standard 500k pot, or a 250k one to smooth out the highs, but the '59 is an excellent choice as well. It all depends on prefrence.
Cheers.

I'd always default to a JB in the bridge position. I love the sound of that thing... and 500k all the way. Keep those glorious highs.

I just got sick of the highs, cause I had to turn up the treble on my amp to make the neck pup sing. But when I did, the bridge would go uberbrite and it wasn't for me. Now I find for what I play, it sounds perfect.
Cheers

My Venus has that same mod. I think it had more to do with having the jack mounted on flimsy plastic than adding a tone control.
