Onboard passive tone systems.

I want schematics for passive tone filters that can be linked up to you average switch on a guitar. What I'd be really interested in is something along the lines of the QTX filter installed as standard on quite a few Alden guitars, but it's impossible to find a schematic for it, and I don't know if anybody actually owns one that I can copy.
So other suggestions are fine. I'm not interested in active systems.

Its supposed to be along the lines of a Varitone, like that of the Blueshawk or so I've heard.

Maybe you can get a gut shot of an Alden and make variants of the schematic above? Though I suppose that sort of gut shot would have to be quite specific due to the amount of wiring I could imagine being involved in this sort of job and it could be only a few resistors or whatnot different.
Keep us updated, I wanna try something like this soon.

Actually (apologies for the triple posting), is that Clapton do-dad passive? That Mid Boost shizz he has in the Strat?

I'm fairly certain it's active, because Clapton is a piss-artist who can't do anything right, ever.

aha,
THIS PAGE is packed with tons of awesome passive EQ options. I've bought the parts for the hi/lo pass filter one, I was going to use it to replace the normal tone control on my musicmaster.
