So I just put a speaker in my 1x12 cab. I was wondering how it should be wired.

there are 2 terminals on the jack and the speaker. Does it matter which goes to which? I currently have the red wire to the left terminal on the speaker and the black to the right. It works currently, but I didn't know if I had it wrong it would still work, etc.

Any info? Pics?

red is positive i presume, it goes to the terminal with a + on it

which terminal on the jack is positive?

tip is positive, sleeve is negative.

with only one speaker it doesn't matter though.
