Bare Knuckle Single Coils?

Looking at putting one of their strat pickups in the neck of my jag to replace the DiMarzio YJM thingy in there.
I've been interested in BK pups ever since Thom started singing their praises and they're pretty modestly priced for what they are.

Does anyone have any experience with their singles? I ask because I have no idea what to go for. I'm looking for some vintage output, but the clips on their site are all user submitted stuff on the forums.

While I can tell the pickups sound good, the difference in recording equipment and guitars and whatever else means I can't really get a feel for the differences between the pickups.

Slightly leaning towards the Irish Tour ones, but that's just 'cause I love me some Rory Gallagher.

Just email Tim at Bare Knuckles.
He responds the same day and is very very helpful. I recently bought a Crawler humbucker from them based on his recommendation and it was exactly what I needed.
Great pickups and great company. If you want to go boutique, It doesn't get much better anywhere.

Good man :) You won't be disappointed, let me start with that.
Ok so I have Trilogy Suite singles in my Strat, but obviously they don't fit into the vintage spec.
Also, something to consider is that your Jag will need routing for a strat triangle base pup.
I replaced my Jag pups with BPK92s a couple of years ago and whilst I love them, I want to get it a bit closer to stock and going back to singles. And it's funny you should bring this up now as on Monday I sent Tim my old CIJ pups for a rewind, and have gone for a Mother's Milk neck wind to get my Frusciante on and Sinner bridge wind for some über-brutalz.
Irish tours might be a little bright for a Jag, but then I've never tried them.
I have as mentioned I've the P92s and Trilogy Suite, as well as an LP with a Rebel Yell set, an LP with Nailbomb/Mississippi Queen combination and a Miracle Man on the way for my Jag-Stang - they are all outstanding.
Anyway...in terms of advice, analogsystem was spot on, just mail or ring Tim and tell him what sound you are looking for, what the guitar is and what amp you usually play through - he won't get it wrong.

I've long planned on getting a 50's CV strat and doing this, with a Wilkinson bridge. Basically, make the best strat imaginable out of a cheap guitar.
