that company is 20 mins down the road from me. mainly they trade from the hotrox shop. my ex rhythm guitarist has the older version with the musical notations for the labels. it's a loud pedal, but never thought it was that good. having said that, our ex rhythm guitarist had the wooliest sounding setup in the world.

Me too. I've no problem with Metasonix's purile and obscene labels for their crap effects, but on these plain-ass pedals it just seems crass and blokey.

Yeah I agree, prolly put a lot of people off from checking the pedal out further.
According to the website Vintage & Rare & musicground stock them so I will check them out.

I knew Six by Seven used to use the older versions.

Ironically it's the use of "Slapper" that offends me the most.

There is something crass about the design. Like its not actually done with any humour or playfulness (i.e elements that can subvert the negative meanings) but actually made by someone who reads those Gor fantasy novels where women are slaves to the whim of warrior types with axes. hehheh dorks

They might as rename the dials "BOORISH" "ARE" "CUNTS" and "WE", although I'm not sure of the order.

$230 is a little more than I would feel comfortable paying for a pedal...Especially one with these labels.

Have you tried one out/watched a lot of demos, or does it just make you giggle?
