i may buy one, but what are your thoughts? can someone link me with a good schematic or drawing so i can make this pedal true bypass?

I personally really liked the one I had a number of years ago; it sounded a lot more "rounded" and less harsh than pretty much every Big Muff I've ever tried.. bar maybe the Green one.

Buuut, the bypass and plastic shaft pots really made it not worth keeping on the ol' pedalboard.

They sound good but I generally don't use it because I have a couple of other fuzzes... I didn't ever have it on my pedalboard because of the noticable loss in highs and clarity when it's in the chain. I have it around for the occasional overdub or reference point (it's a big muff when it's turned on).
