That's some mean playing! It sounds best, like you said, into dirt. It would be great to hear it into Fuzz. Playing rythm through it sounds like cocked wah in front of overdrive, not exactly my preffered "cutting sound" but for leads it does a pretty good job!
Neat little pedal. Thanks for the demo!

i played it into a muff and it sounded cool. i'll have to do one with it going into other pedals

cool pedal! Never even heard of it until now. Treble Boosters are really cool going into a Muff. I have built a few myself and owned a Keeley Java Boost (rangemaster style clone) and it is pretty awesome.

I have the super old version with the male and female jacks on it. It's pretty cool other than the fact that I have to reach down to turn it on and off each time. I wonder how it compares to the new version. There's not much to the circuit but I wonder if they added anything to the new version.

wow, very simple circuit.

I am going to breadboard this someday and check it out.

also nice that it uses a cheap tranny unlike the germanium based ones.

The EH Mole, LPB-1 and Screaming Tree are all also VERY similar circuits to this. It'd be cool to build a pedal with all of these in it. Maybe with a rotary switch.

yep, very simple, same as original except there is a diode in there for the power supply. i am going to build a LPB 1 and see how it sounds.

another great simple silicon transistor treble booster is the AMZ Muffmaster.
