Vintange Fender Bronco Electric guitar
I'm quite new to all this, but isnt that something like a Duosonic boby on a Bronco neck?

yeah very weird eh. looks sort of like a cyclone pickguard. I think it's a heavily modified Bronco. I'd like to see what's going on under that pickguard though. it's really not worth the $1k BIN at all.

The bridge is also nothing like that of a Bronco, so got me stumped.

yeah, someone seriously modified this thing. that's why I'm saying it's really not worth that much. I would say prolly $400 tops.

almost reminds me of the mods that were done to my mustang. string thru bod, modern hardware etc.

looks like someone just put a bronco neck on a squier
but all of the shortscale squiers i know of have contours and aren't offset

its just a cyclone with a bronco neck on it.
the dumb thing probably won't even intonate correctly

that was my first thought but cyclones have contours

cyclones are also not hardtails

the "butt" of the guitar looks a bit weird to me. Like the lower offset curve looks way too drastic.
Maybe this is a home made job?

just noticed this.
it looks way off any sort of shortscale curve ive ever seen. maybe a home job. maybe someone just took something they already had and decided it needed more curvez.

I think it's a refin'd slab body MM or Duo II body, 64-69? or whatever years that would be, with a bronco neck and then a strat hardtail along with a home made pickguard. The case matches the Duo II style too.

yep i saw this too. It is so far from being a legitimate Fender Bronco and has no description of what has happened to it. The $600 starting bid is already too high, it seems.

i am still baffled by this whole thing. it's got to be a duo-sonic or musicmaster, because:
A) it's string through, so if it's a bronco or a mustang, the trem routes have been filled.
B) it's not contoured, so it can't be a cyclone (plus strat trem route)
C) that pickguard sucks ass
D) fuck
EDIT: shit, i totally skipped over jamesnye the sci guy's post:
