Sounds very cool, man. I especially like the guerilla-style, take no prisoners, fuck you, breadboard build.
Are you wingin' it or using one of the million existing fuzz circuits and seasoning to taste?

Nice. I made a similar project for myself last year using the Super-Fuzz circuit as a starting point. It turned out meganasty, as it should be.

Sounds fun. Are you going to provide a bias tweak for the first transistor to vary the gating effect?

i was thinking about putting a mini pot in there but as this is the first one i have built i am not too sure about where it goes

nearly finished this. have put a 10k resistor in series with the input ot remove RF noise, a 47pf cap between the collectors of the tranisistors to further quieten things down and a 10k trim pot before the 2nd tranny for bias.

Those batteries are actually kick ass for effects. I had a couple back in the day.

it was in with a dano tod1 i bought a bit ago but i normally use a adaptor so never used it. those "vintage" bullshit batteries are the same as
but about 3 times the price

I found a carbon-zinc battery source here for a buck. These used to come free with all the Dano effects, so I had a bunch.

There is only one fuzz you need to be building and that is a sustain punch creamy dreamer.
