The guy's description says it's "surf green"... so maybe only the photography makes it look blue?

Why do some poly finishes turn yellowish while others don't? Is it triggered by the same things that turn nitro yellow, like UV rays and cigarette smoke?

i think it has to do with where they're made (and obviously what/how much poly is used). my chinese strat that i sold to robroe had colored nicely, and most of the japanese stuff i've had does as well. however, the korean and mexican guitars i've owned seem to have this tank-like poly that just blocks everything.

i'm getting ready to try the upside down air can trick on my MIM strat, so we'll see just how tough she is.
