Bronco, my first project.

Post by thendo »

Hey everybody.
I have been interested in short scale guitars for a little while now but just haven't had the money to pull the trigger on one.
But earlier I had someone offer to sell me the original body, bridge plate, and saddle for a '68 bronco. He wants $150 for the lot.
After doing some digging it is still hard for me to get a bearing on 1) Is this a good deal. 2)how much replacing the rest will be. I realize the necks going to run 2-300. I am a college student so I am not necessarily looking for a 100% authentic rebuild (for now) because of money.
Also this is my would be my project so any other tips would be great.
Thanks.

if the trem isn't complete, it is pretty hard to find parts for, the rest is pretty easy.
