I have the opportunity to trade my modified Jagmaster that I have for sale for a white Vista Series Jagmaster that has Lace sensors in it. What is a Vista Jagmaster worth? I would be looking to flip the Jagmaster after the trade if I can make more on the Vista jagmaster. Any ideas on the price of the Vista jagmaster?

Aren't the Vista Jagmasters really good? CIJ right? What made them so special?

I posted my 96 in sunburst (which are far less appreciable than the white ones) for $500 CDN on Craigslist, last year.
It stayed up a whole 4 hours, before someone snapped it up.

get the vista man-- it is a little rough now because of the economy--- but they sell for legitimate prices - they are real good- you may want to keep it--

they were made in the same factory and share the same exact neck / tuners that went on fender japan jaguars and mustangs of the same year

well the person is either going to buy my jagmaster for $300 or trade me the Vista jagmaster straight up for mine. It is up to me to decide to trade or sell. If I can get more than $300 for the Vista I will trade.

here's the short and long of it:

your guitar is not worth as much as a vista jagmaster. period.

however, in todays market, getting $300 for a guitar that isn't worth $300, and getting $350-400 for a vista jagmaster isn't even worth the hassle. why not just sell for $300 and buy whatever shite you're after?

another point is you said it has lace sensors in it? what kind? does it have the original pg and pickups that come with? if the answer is no to the last question, then i fear you wouldn't get enough to justify the extra step in getting to your desired end result: money.

i bought my vista about a year ago, and i got it for $250. the problem is most people think they're all the same, and those who know the difference are after the quality of the neck, or the pickups. if this one only has the original neck, and lace sensors, it'd be a tough sell. at least to me, but i'm a purist and probably belong at offset.

i would totally do the trade. doesn't seem like much of a hassle to me.

the lace sensors might make it sell for less... or more. depends if you find a buyer who likes lace sensors.
