Anyone here have any experience with Dynacord amps etc? I found a Dynacord Eminent II in a store for a reasonable price. 80watts of valve powah, should work well with both guitar AND bass.

Just thought I'd ask here before going to test it.

I'm clueless. Looks rad though, and that's what counts.

If it sounds good I'll get it. If I can get the backing of gf, who's not so keen on more stuff wondering in our place. Especially since she's going to France as a exchange student next year, and we should save up money for it. Bah, that's a long time away. The price is at 370 euros, but I think I can try to haggle the price down a bit. Good thing is that the amp has just been serviced.

Dynacord is / was a german amplifier company that is selling PA and hifi systems to this day. After purchasing the Echolette company, they made quite a few instrument amplifiers in the 70s and 80s. Our former organ player used a Dynacord combo. It was heavy as shit and loud a hell. You can think of it as the equivalent of some old Hiwatt - it gets your shit way louder ;) but doesn't colour the sound as much as most guitar amps do. So as a versatile working horse there's not much bad to say about them, but as a guitar amp I would choose something else. The price seems a little high. But that is just a feeling.
