I have been using pedals for about two years now and I have been a complete noob and haven't moved off using batteries for EVERYTHING.


So I am looking for a power supply to power my pedals, I have looked at the diago daisy chain thing and it looks good but I was just wondering what everybody else thinks?

You can't beat the Diago one IMO.
Quite a few of us on here have one.

Is that Harley Benton one any good? That's very cheap, no?

if this were a poll, i'd have voted one spot. basically they're $20, and i've had problems nil.

Yeah the diago appeals to me the most at the moment, Is there any hum or noise it produces?

carl martin power plant. £29 for a good quality supply ala one spot kinda thing. comes with loads of adapter cables for ehx, battery clip etc and an angeled daisy chain with five outlets. Where abouts in the midlands are You?

the power plant is appealing as I am on a budget. I am in northamptonshire...

I had nothing but noise problems with mine, but I was running two delays, a reverb and a trem with mine. I'm alone on the forum in griping about this.

the harley benton power plant is about 39EUR or so, personally i think for that price other brands with similar features (t rex, voodoo labs, mxr etc) can't beat it, it's been reliable and just does what it has to do. (well it's a bit bigger than a boss sized pedal in length, downside)

downside is it's pretty heavy and takes up the space of a boss sized pedal on your board. if you only neef to power four or so regular pedals maybe the onespot is a better buy because it's smaller but it broke on me after two years of (ab)use.

I own a HB Power Plant, and it's been really good so far. Sure, it takes quite a lot of space, but my pedalboard has space beneath it, where mine fits nicely. I'd get another if mine broke.

yeah i think i would too, 40eur instead of 140eur on a similar power block from another brand and it does the job just fine.

Contrary to Tim I have had no noise issues at all, and have powered up to 12 pedals at once, including 2 delays and a trem

You want one of these. No question about it.

They've been out of stock for ages, to the extent that people thought they were no longer available, but now have them again.

Yes - this is exactly what you want. I have one of these and a Diago and I can't tell any difference.

What pedals are you powering? It's hard to make a suggestion unless I know what you need to power.

I use the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 mounted under my pedaltrain pro. It works great for me, I am powering different voltage pedals like a DL4, Polychorus, Worm in addition to various 9 volt pedals.

I am sure any similar power brick will work as long as it powers all your pedals without noise.

i was going to buy a harley benton powerplant, but it only has 500ma for all outputs, i think that wouldn't be enough since i have a lot of digital delays and stuff like that. I do like my 1spot, but it's kind of noisie for some pedals, so i use 2 other boss transformers
