not as bad as i had expected. I think the whole thing is quite tasteful, probably one of my favourite jagstangs i've seen including yours with the jag trem and robert's

I have to admit I kind of like that. That's the craziest trem modification I've seen in a while, but it definitely works with the rest of the guitar's look. :D

Anybody know what the fuck that vibrato thing is?
Is it some kind of DIY job?

I almost care enough to create an account there.
Almost

I'm glad he finally put that stupid wire under the guard. that part always really bothered me; made the whole thing look really contrived.

ok really now. tasteful? what gives it so much punk attitude is the fact that no regard was given to taste whatsoever.

I really want to hear how it sounds. And the acoustic guitar in that picture with Filtertron(?) pickups...

taste, functionality, practicality. . . even with the wiring better concealed now, i'd still have a hard time playing that given the superfluous switch and bizarre-o trem.

srsly. and he has tape over the control plate still? not even duct tape anymore, he downgraded to packing tape... gash.

i guess that's all well and good, but what's the point of the fucking screws?

can someone ask him what pick ups?

it has a bunch of superfluous switches. from the man himself:

I was thinking that extra jumble of stuff he added to the trem would be helping stabilize it. but uh, when you think about it, it's quite pointless. it's pulling in the same direction as the normal mustang trem.

he says he's going to put the original mustang bridge back on it though.

The more I look at this thing, the more convinced I am that this is a hinge for a garden gate.

Is that thing just some add-on that tries to pull the mustang trem back into a fixed position? ^^

I have no idea of what is intention was, but that would be my guess. Either that, or to counter the internal springs to make it less sensitive.

I still love this guitar. I like that wank tailpiece too.

My favorite post from the linked thread:

your guitars are depleting the world's natural reserves of win

That pretty much sums up my thoughts about that guitar... but hey, it's HIS guitar, not mine, so my thoughts are irrelevant - as long as he digs it, that's all that matters.
