Continuing my forray into the world of effects pedals I've been investigating drive/fuzz pedals. I've been looking at the Electro Harmonix Double muff for £34 and am quite interested in it. Sadly none of my local shops have any in to test out so I have had to rely on proguitar.com youtube videos. If anyone has used one I'd be interested to know what you think of it.

Also the Nano muff overdrive is £29 which im also considering for a bit of a dirt boost.

i used to own one and i really liked it. the first mode is nice and crunchy and the second mode is heavier gain. really usable. but likes to be the first pedal in the chain, otherwise it doesn't sound as good. i might even grab another one, cheap and cheerful.

Hmmmm... I've mucked about with one, never been blown away, but they have a reputation as a bit of a sleeper pedal, really quite handy. I wouldn't spend £34 on one though.

For starters its NOT a fuzz, its an Overdrive pedal with two modes. Like Rob said, its fussy where it goes in the chain, like really fussy.
I was'nt impressed to be honest, i'd say get a Danelectro Cool Cat Fuzz. The Dano is in a different league, you can clean the sound up with your guitar volume down as far as a clean boost, its just shockingly good for the money.
