pretty cool! I love how he just completely switches styles a couple times.
interesting that he uses the whammy pedal instead of just using the reverb handle. also interesting how he does the wigga wigga with the pickup selector switch. I like to just turn the volume all the way down on the rhythm switch and then it's like a true kill switch.

I'm pretty sure he's speeded up that video. Everything moves a little too jerkily and the light from the window changes way too fast to be natural.

That O.G. Foo Fighters poster was my first poster ever, back in '96 or '97.

Yes.
I think that is sped up.

Why would anyone speed up a video like this? They're only lying to themselves.

Why is the video speed any concern of yours? He looks like he is having fun!

I just find it a little sad that guitarist think they have to play fast to be good guitar players.

I dont think he played just fast.
I m not a fan of shredding or tapping, but he did it quite tastefully and in ways I havent seen before.
And how he began with the reverb all the way up, was very cool, and that he shifts styles with no hassle, I think it just shows that he is good.
and he has a nice guitar.

Because he is faking something to appear faster, as if sheer speed is anything to be proud of.
Where is the Soul?
I dunno, I like to think the main principle when I make videos is validity. And this guy has none if he's done some post processing to appeart quicker. Good luck to him though, I'm sure some of you love that stuff.

yeah haha.
not just guitarists, this video i posted of hyun jung lim getting behind her piano and just blasting out this thing that wowed everyone it did much less for me than her other stuff that is still agressive playing but much less to impress and just to play something you love. maybe sometimes it clashes: you impress without meaning to because you like the challenge'
speeding up a video or a song when you're recording...eh... p90's shredding is interesting though, nice combination of single coil clarity and hum bass

It could be speeded up if his squeaky "hello" intro is anything to go by, but i watched a few more of his and he's playing at the same speed yet his body movement is normal. Either way, its the modal playing that's interesting. Good to see them styles on an Offset too.

what?
that video doesn't look sped up. i'd expect THE LIGHT FROM THE WINDOW IS MOVING TOO FAST from the internet detective youtube commenters but not shortscale. come on.

wether it is or isn't, it's interesting to use a jazzmaster in a way you usually don't see on youtube right

Definitely. I love to see Offsets in as many different settings as possible, it shows the true diversity of the instruments.
According to some folk on Youtube all Jag users should play Surf music, so i suppose we are all doing it wrong.

Trooooooooz, it's just the camera's white balance readjusting each time his hand goes towards the nut.
