I saw this on StewMacs site.

My question is could you use this in a Duo-sonic or Mustang to replace the 2 slider switches?

It would be a cool Mod for sure. With the Mustang sliders, there are 9 possible combinations. 4 of the combinations are redundant (2 for Neck, 2 for bridge, 2 for in phase, 2 out of phase) and 1 for 0ff. That would be 5 combinations and the 6th could be the pickups wired in series.

Is that possible or do you need 2 switches for some of those combinations?

i think id find it really irritating
id always flick it into a a different position than where i would want it to go while playing
cool concept tho and will probably suit some people
