From Spain? Owner on Vintaxe says it's a Jamadi.
Maybe it was made by
the spanish company that made guitars for Hofner(Link) ?

I can't decide if I really love or really hate those giant hunks or red plastic thats used for the pickguard and input jack.

I think those are what make me hate it... I usually love strange 60's guitars but that is where I draw the line...
