Aria Diamond (mosrite style). Worth the asking price?

I was playing an Aria DM-380 the other day and was really digging the pickups and the feel of the guitar. It def had a Ramones kind of vibe to it (which is good). Anyone have an opinion on these? are they worth the $300 or so asking price?

Reece has one I think. Seems like a pretty nice guitar.

I had one (now owned by Reece), nice guitar. I believe they come from the same factory as the Wilson Bros. guitars which are more expensive.
The pickups are great, the neck is slim and the tuners are solid. You can usually pick them up cheaper than $300 though, i'd have a shop round first.

i played the bass version, though it was muck. Over priced even when on sale.

I don't like the trem, but seems nice enough. The eastwood version is a bit more true to the original.

Yeah i'll second that (obviously). I picked the Aria over about 10 different Basses in the store when i had one.

i like everything 'cept the trem.
i'm not very good at setting up strat-style trems so i've been grappling with it a bit.

Yeah, I think the bass is quality. The basses are around £200 new and for that money they are a bargain. Feels good, sounds good, looks pretty good too.

I would personally go for the Eastwood version... It all depends whether you think it's worth the price really...

See, I had the Eastwood Johnny Ramone (the old white one with P90s) and it's the worst lemon I've ever owned.

I should point out that Ends had one and loved it, so maybe mine was an exception rather than the rule but: yes, they look lovely. At 72 dpi. In the flesh it was a piece of shit.

I was wondering ... Are the new Arias still made in Japan ?
