We started with the neck:

And the body:

Stripped the headstock face:

And refinished it:

Applied the decal:

Using my '65 for a reference:

Not too shabby:


Then the body was primed and finished. Had a few issues along the way. I ended up doing heavy tinting around the horns and forearm areas, similar to my last build. The darker areas aren't so flagrant in most light!

I was out of natural light by the time I had it wired up and assembled late today...


The flash doesn't flatter this color very much...

Again, I hate the flash...


I'll get some better photos at some point tomorrow if the weather is decent!

I still need to buff the body on this guy... I may get on that tomorrow. I was just too excited to get it assembled! I've never been one for patience...
